Wedding fairs are still springing up like mushrooms. Every wedding location hosts a wedding event, in every town there is a wedding fair.
\nThe attentive reader will notice that I can hardly get anything out of the wedding fairs.<\/p>\n
In fact, I have organized my own fair, because even then (2010) the concepts of fairs for bridal couples did not convince me.<\/p>\n
On the weekend the probably most important wedding fair in Switzerland takes place in Zurich. Every year, bridal couples ask me whether it is worth going to the fair.
\nHonestly?
\nThere are two reasons to visit a wedding fair.
\n1. wedding rings – it is very practical to look at the rings directly at the producer, no jeweler has such a big choice
\n2. the wedding dresses are mounted on busts – but also only in size 34\/36, so it helps only conditionally<\/p>\n
In fact, for the first time in 14 years, I will NOT go to the wedding fair.
\nThe professionals I like to work with do not exhibit and new wedding service providers do not have time for a wedding planner.
\nThe exhibitors absolutely have to make and sell contacts. The m2 costs a fortune, you have to focus on that.
\nI don’t have to go there for the prosecco either, I prefer to open a bottle at home.<\/p>\n
Then another one in my opinion, sustainable tip:
\nIf you don’t want to go home with a pile of wastepaper, just tell the exhibitors you’re already married.
\nOnly take flyers and brochures that they really need.<\/p>\n
It doesn’t have to be “greenwedding”, but we do protect the environment.<\/p>\n
