How long is a wedding ceremony?
Certainly not as short as often shown on German TV.
You plan for months for the most beautiful day in your life.
So, what do you think is a reasonable time for the wedding ceremony?
On German TV, the bridesmaids are on one side and the best man on the other.
The wedding presenter stands in the middle and reads out his text and then, poof, poof, he declares the two to be man and woman.
(because before they were dog and zebra đ)
Have you never noticed that the translations are always wrong in German?
You have selected music for the wedding ceremony. Moving in and out is clear, and then a song for kissing, for exchanging rings etc.
These pauses, during which no one speaks, are very valuable.

I wouldn’t recommend less than 30 minutes.
A Catholic wedding ceremony can easily take more than an hour.
